Tomorrow will be the shakedown run.

Bike ran well.  Idle was set at 1200 ft altitude and got a little low up in the mountains at 6000 ft.  Messed with the airbleeds a little at fuel stops.  When I got back to the valley the bike was hot (240 degrees) and it was idling high.  Screwed the airbleeds back in a touch.  I guess my closed loop system can't adjust itself very well.

I've got a TB synch and a PCIII install in the making.  Hopefully that'll smooth everything out.

the 620 isn't closed loop.  it does have compensation for varying ambient air temp and pressure, but if the idle mixture is quite off that may still show up.  plus the air pressure tables often aren't always as variant as they should be because a bad sensor can cause particulary bad running issues.

Bad throttle position sensor or bad air temp sensor?  Do TPS's go bad very often?  I wonder how much $ a TPS is to replace.  Any sources to get them more quickly that ordering from Italy?

From what my tech told me, yes, they tend to go bad; the PC took care of this stumbling idle issue plus it has help a lot in the lower to mid rpm range.
