What do you call the top part of the forks on the Monster that holds the handle bar on? I guess you'd say it was the top most part of the triple clamp that holds the stock bars down.

I'm having a brain fart.  Undecided

The handlebar clamps? (above the bar, with four bolts runnig down through them.)  Handlebar clamp bosses (bolted on or cast into the top of the top triple clamp)?  (below the bar, threaded to receive the four clamping bolts?

Yes that's the part. Is it just called the clamp? I'm was wondering if there were any custom ones out there but didn't know what words to use for a search.

According to my parts book, in Ducatese, they are parts
360.1.010.1C Stud bolt 2  (the two lower bits)
and
360.1.016.1C Bracket (the top plate)

Although I've always refered to these as "bar risers."

Thanks for looking it up!  waytogo

Mine isn't a bar riser per-say, but it is the top plate that I was looking for. I just found that SpeedyMoto calls it the "top cap"

I'm not crazy about this one in particular, but it's a start in the search.

part under the bar is usually called risers, and the top is handlebar clamp or cap

Yeah, I think we mostly associate bar "risers" with higher than OEM mods, but technically that's what they all are, as they "raise" the bar off the triple tree.
