Your opinion needed!

Thnx!

Most call it a belly pan.

I think there are a lot of options, I don't have any FHE.

Maybe try a sponsor - like motowheels or shift tech?

That's a "Monza" Belly Pan.
Jeff over at Monsterparts.com has them in unpainted, painted (black, yellow and red I believe), and carbon of course.
Here's a link for the unpainted one.
http://www.monsterparts.com/pc/ZU-C13MONRAW/Bodywork-Carbon/ZU-C13MONRAW.html

This will NOT fit the 696.
Look for one made by "Barracuda" i believe. That should fit the 696.

the first one you linked is for a monster classic, and the second is for a 696.

they are not interchangeable. what bike do you have?

as for if you should buy: i think it comes down to your taste, if you like it then buy it. Depends if you are into the really naked style, or if you like a little more plastics on your bike

also consider where else you could spend the money. that might buy a nice DP gel seat, which you may enjoy a lot more while riding

DP gel seat???
Ok, what is that?

I have Ducati Monster 696+

DP = Ducati Performance.
I am not sure they make a gel seat for 696 at this time

They do have a 'Touring' seat for the 696

yuu is correct the DP gel is monste classic only, so looks like the auction you found will work for your bike, and the price doesnt seem harsh really.

i say go for it if youve been wanting one and post pictures of how it turns out. not sure ive seen a 696 with a bellypan before (but i havent been looking either)

knoplace has gel pads that can be custom cut, you can bring it to an upholstery shop and have them throw in a pad. i have one in my stock seat and let me tell you, the difference in comfort is profound.

if you do a search you will find at least one person on her with the 696 and the barracuda chin spoiler, not a true belly pan cause it doesnt cover the oil pan.

also, what kind of mods are you looking for?
Looks? or Performance? or comfort?

There are plenty of each.

ok... Looks...

1) Carbon Fiber known as CF on here.
  a) front fender
  b) rear hugger
  c) 3 exhaust shields (1 if you go aftermarket exhaust or none if you go exbox or similar exhaust)
  d) body panels
2) Extra or changes body panels
  a) Chin spoiler or belly pan
  b) different bikini fairing
  c) different front fender (some are using a superbike or SBK fairing)
  d) short tail kit
  e) mirrors
  f) bars
  g) grips
  e) levers
3) Exhausts (some performance value here)
  a) Termi system in CF, AL or Ti
  b) aftermarket systems standard mount
  c) aftermarket systems undertail mount
  d) aftermarket systems underengine mount
4) Painting or powdercoating or ceramic coating
  a) front headlight bracket black
  b) exhaust hangers black
  c) exhaust front shield black
  d) rearsets black
  e) exhaust pipes

Those are the easiest things i can think of right off the bat for looks. i'm sure others have input for you.
