Hey All, I'm from Capitol Area Monsters, I'm currently in Texas but headed to Arizona tomorrow.  I'm headed to Sierra Vista but don't mind travelling!!!  I'll be in town for a couple months.

I've brought my Monster, but I am in need of a GOOD and TRUSTWORTHY Duc Mechanic.  Any suggestions?

Since I'm on the road, if you don't mind, please txt or call me @ 443-694-3351.
Thanks,
Billy

If you are looking for really great guys - and don't mind driving up to Tucson, On Any Moto is a great shop. But it depends on what you need to get done as to if they can do what you need. Most likely they can, so here's there number, give them a call: 520-269-6606

Monster Dave.

edit - I just realized that you're going to be closer to Tucson than I thought - I'd certainly recomend that you call them. They have a great reputation. I have all my work done by them. waytogo

I lived in Columbia, MD for a year and a half, and never made it out to the Rhodedside Grill.   Sad

Anyway... what kind of repairs are you talking about.  We've got a resident "shade-tree hack" that's pretty good at turning wrenches.  Even got some software to hook up to the later DS motors.  Give us an idea of what's wrong with the monster and we'll steer you right.

And if you're in town for a couple of months... you've definitely gotta ride with us!

Hey guys, thanks for your suggestions, I'll look at both, and when my bikes running, I'll GLADLY go ride!

Here's the deal, I had an accident in D.C.  The headlight was pushed up into the dash, and broke a connector.  The shifter was bent a little and pushed into the linkage, bending that too.

My best guess, at the suggestion of a good friend, is that the antennae may have been damaged.

When I put my key in and turn the bike on, it works fine, but when I push the button to start, NOTHING happens.  No crank, no sound, nothing...

The linkage I've got will work.  We'll have to take a look to see if the shifter is the same between the DSS monsters and the Single Sided ones.

Is the connection on the back of the guage cluster broken? If one of a. the guages, b. ecu, or c. key transponder antenna are borken or not working, the bike won't start...

Thanks for all your input!~!!  I got it fixed, it was the connector behind the headlight.  I made a quick fix and all is well.  I will still need that linkage from RULE62, thanks!  How about this weekend?  I would like to link up with the AZ crew and go for a little ride.  My bike is really performing well here, today I topped off with some race fuel and couldn't believe the difference a few points of octane makes.  Very smooth and responsive!!

Hope to see you this weekend....
