An article that mixes the names of the victim and father (in the headline) appears on an obscure lesbian blog site.  Following the links to other web sites, we see wackos wanting the kid dead.

I'd love to know how much Jermaine or Latoya Jackson got for selling the news of the death to TMZ; they broke the story about an hour before any credible news outlet could corroborate the claims. TMZ has been known to pay good money for breaking news and the Jackson family is dirty enough to totally exploit Michael for a few more $$.

You aren't talking about a guy that one time, out of the blue, was accused of child molestation. Your hero paid over $22 million to make the 1993 case go away and was charged with 7 additional counts ten years later. I haven't met many (in fact none) accused child molestors that were innocent. As as the other poster said, giving to charities was just a way for him to numb his guilt and sway people like you into thinking it's ok to have sleepovers with little boys. But don't let me stand in your way. Press forward, be a super fan, mourn his passing. I'll just skip all the that and hope that something more newsworthy rids my TV/internet/radio of this soon.

Yes, I would want to see him go to jail. But being involved in that industry I know that he would be out in 2-3 years and I would still have a emotionally scarred son. If offered 22M I would probably take it. Spend 1M on therapy, balance on son's education and he is set for life, and giving the 22M probably hurt MJ more.

Conversly. If I was ever accused of a crime that I did not commit. A crime that is even looked down upon by murderer's and rapists? Would I settle or take a plea? Not a chance.

And MJ is not respected. Yes he has millions of fans the world over. That's not respect, that's adoration. I adore Vanessa Marcil. I don't respect her. Hell, I don't even know her. But when semi-lame "Las Vegas" comes on, she's got me.
