If anyone ever makes a 327 lever action carbine I will own one! [thumbsup]

the .327 (fed mag) was designed as a smaller case round to mimic the .357 magnum, i believe and afaik they only make revolvers with it.  given the cost of uncommon ammo, seems the .357 is the right choice for a lever for you if you like the .327 (unless you have a box of wheelguns in it?)

i love the .41 magnum, but it's pricey to shoot for fun.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

This is my favorite 22. I have this rifle dialed in! It is a Talo Ruger 10-22 US shooting team target rifle.

I find it disturbing that you're imagining me in a sauna, never mind the teletubbie aspect of it

Yes, ditch the pistol grip. They look cool in movies but are not so useful in real world applications. If you were in the military or on a SWAT team and just wanted to use it for door breaching rounds and need the compact feature then it would be perfect. Not so much for actual aimed, sighted fire. If you are into trench coats they are also good for robbing convenience stores! [laugh]

3 words....Surbu Super Shorty...6.5".  Technically an AOW, not SBS, so the transfer tax is $5.

You would be busier than a one armed paper hanger on a hit with that gun.

I'm wondering if the Marlin 32 H&R levergun could be converted to 327.  The Marlins are usually very picky about round OAL so it may not work without a bunch of messing around.  It would be real interesting to see if Ruger might make a 77 in it like the 77-44 and now the 77-357 - or the 96 lever in 327 would be a great gun too.
Maybe. The case is just a bit longer. you would need to lengthen the chamber and re-work the mag tube. If the round has clerance (front to back) in the action, it might work.
I would like the M 77-327 I think.

Do you know if they make a breaching round?

they won't work in every shotgun without mod.  most need modification of the feed mechanism.

Ahhh... I'd just go old school and use a Rem 870 and 2.75" shells. Why mess with what works 24/7? ;)
