I,

That's the exact one I checked out the other day when I was emailing you about it.

Break it in then I'll drive down and shoot to see if I like it.

Based on the feel at the shop......I wouldn't purchase.

Yes, M240G = Gulf

"show off your guns" not "show off gun pr0n"

Don't really think Trey would mind.

love the saw would go back to humping it any day of the week, but cleaning that thing is an unreal task, im convinced they put the magazine well on that gun to make you hate the universe.  loved humping the 240b too; that gun can eat belts of ammo, i wouldnt even want to know what it costs to take a companys worth of them to the range haha.  being my platoons lead .50 gunner was probably my favorite job in the military, we did have a company from the 1st cav attached to us when i was over there during the surge and i wouldnt want to ever be a reloader in one of those thing (got to know a dude how didnt get out of the way fast enough).  i did love hearing them clanking down the road a block or two over from us when we were down in the city, and when you heard that main gun swing around you knew they were about to put on a show.  now im a sergeant and my life is boring im back to carrying around a little m4, but i did get the m4 with the grenade launcher attached to it... im going to miss all the toys when im a civilian.

Just joined the Associated Gun Clubs of Baltimore.  Awesome range.  Trap, 200 yard rifle (with military target bunker), 100 yard rifle and pistol ranges.  Open 362 days a year and rarely too crowded on the weekend.

Got to sight out the new M4gery. First shot on paper, second shot in the bullseye at 25 yards.

I can take as many guests as I want to AGC so if anybody in the DC/Balto area wants to go out and toss some lead downrange, let me know.
996 forks, BoomTubes, frame sliders, CRG bar-end mirrors, vizitech integrated tail light, rizoma front turn signals, rizoma grips, cycle cat multistrada clip ons, pantah belt covers - more to come

I know its technically not *my* gun, but it's still cool.

There's other interesting vids of pump shotguns, etc.

That's pretty funny!! [laugh] I've got to show that to my 13 year old, he'll love it! He's got a belt fed Nerf machine gun that looks like a 249 SAW. That thing seems to be running all the time, I can't believe it hasn't broken yet! [bang]

Since my big brother will be spending the next 5 months in the swamps of Georgia at some Homeland Security base/training facility, he is letting me borrow his Springfield M1 or M14, whatever you want to call it. He just started training today to be a Special Agent in a branch under the homeland security. For his protective reasons, I am not going to list the agency he will be joining upon graduation this Fall.

Here are some shots. Just a standard Springfield .308 rifle, but it is so much fun to shoot. Sorry for the oddness of the pictures, the only camera I could find was my wife's Nikon with some high powered expensive lens on it, I couldn't get a decent picture.

This is going to make me:

1. Not give it back
2. Buy one

it's the latest SOCOM model.

all based on the "original" M14 "Bush" rifle..  Maybe i'll post pics of mine (with the '69 springfield receiver).

i like the scope mount on those though.  much better than the original.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

It's got the Bush 16" barrel (I've got one in a factory woodland camo fiberglass stock) but it also has the Scout picatinny rail on top of the handguard. It's a 16" Scout. Cool gun!!! [thumbsup] Have fun with it... as if I have to tell you that! ;D
