Here is my ultimate home defense gun.

Saiga which is 922r compliant, so I can have the hi-cap magazines, change out the stock, etc. etc.

1.)

2.) Ha! Hardly!

Have a good time: http://www.tromix.com/saiga.htm

Already planning a new stock. I like M4 style telescoping ones.

What will that muzzle break give me?

WTF does that mean?

I have 00 Buck and Slug alternated in my 10rnd mag, same in my 5rnd.

If I have to use more than my 10rnd, I am make the beast with two backsed and should have grabbed the AR-15 with my 30rnd mags coupled.

i was trying to channel your inner advanced dungeons and dragons / world of warcraft character. apparently its all the rage with lots of society now. the brake, well...its good for poking 'targets' to make sure they are "done".

Ahh, I got you.

I don't have time for those games.

I think a few 00 Buck's and Slugs will do the deal.

In that 10rnd mag I have 00 Buck, Slug, 00 Buck Slug, etc.

If I can't take care of business with 10rnds of that combo...........I should have grabbed my AR.

I use a reduced recoil 00 buck in my pistol grip pump, i think it may be alternated with 'personal defense 00 buck', but that's just because it holds more than 5 shells, so i bought a box o' each.

I just ordered off of gun broker a telescoping stock for my Saiga.

I have those on my AR, 870 Express, and now my Saiga.

Prefer to keep my personal defense guns all with the same style stock and feel.

I have no interest in turning a semi-auto 12gauge 10rnd "shot gun" into a pistol grip.

I dislike pistol grips to begin with; yes, I have shot several, even some illegal with shorter barrels and just dont feel like I have any control.

but then again, if you are shooting 00 buck, do you really need accuracy?

Mine came that way, I didn't change it to that. I personally would rather have pistol grip + stock. (telescoping is nice as well). I just haven't bothered to change it, with the hogue stuff it came with, it feels "good enough", and I hit the paper all the way out to distances i shouldn't ever need a bedroom shotgun for.

1. AR had telescoping as it is an M4
2. Modified my 870 Express to a telescoping stock and a hand grip on the slide. make the beast with two backs, you can rack that sucker quick
3. Modifying Saiga to have same style stock as the rest for ease of consistency.
