whats the wait for?

Hawaii gun laws.  You have to wait 14 days from the day you put in your paperwork before your permit to buy is valid.   >:(

Got a pretty good deal though, my local guy is selling the KAC rig for $2100 OTD and that includes 3 pmags, all the Knight's kit and a $100 off a handgun purchase.

He has some STUPID deals on LWRC at the moment as well.  Almost went with the new DEA gun for $1800.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

Dude, have you ever spent much time down here?  You don't want to leer at most of the polynesian women for too long.  They are likely to knock you the make the beast with two backs out if you do.  lol

It's been so long since he leered at anyone it makes me seem young. ;)

sigh

i remember those days

my wife's tastes in interior design do not permit the "engine in the living room" anymore.

i cannot begin to describe the look on her face years ago when an engine showed up on a skid courtesy of UPS -- delivered to our upper east side 7th floor apartment.  I might as well have aborted a calf, pureed it and smeared it on the walls.
There goes 'tiz...

hiking up his skirt. ;D

That looks like fun ^^

It gets the job done, that's for sure.  The new FG feels really nice, and puts the hand in a much more natural position (for me anyway).  I had to relocate the light though, and now it the mount is at the 12 o'clock position with the light hanging off the right side.

I read that, and I've read about the UN proposal/regulations/whatevertheyare.

Until somebody can cite something saying we've actually signed on to it, I'm calling shenanigans.

Can't vouch for the validity issue. The website seems to be ligit. You can surely voice your opinion or ask question about the issue at NRA.com I'm sure. A gun collector friend of mine sent me the link and I was floored.

I saw a link to it off lewrockwell.com. They generally link to reputable stuff, so I dunno...

Like I said, I've read about it before. This is just the only thing I've heard recently, and it doesn't cite sources. :P

anybody carry while riding?

I'm thinking about getting one of those belly wraps, since IWB ain't gonna rock, especially in the event of a crash (where I'll likely be landing) and the IWB holsters conceal great when you aren't leaning forward...

Monsterlover

Riding with leathers?

Seems like it'd be hard to get at in a pinch.

In jeans though, that'd work.

Yeah, the problem is getting into your jacket to get it...

I usually don't carry when riding. I've never really seriously entertained the thought of being "bike-jacked".
