DRKWNG, is that a Surefire Scout light on the new stick? Looks a little bit like one size-wise but the jagged bezel is throwing me off. Didn't think they offered that feature on the Scout. Nice new stick!

It's an LED two cell Defender model, in a LaRue offset mount.  I shoot long guns left-handed, and this mount puts the switch in the perfect spot for my right thumb.  The rifle has different furniture on it at the moment, and I just took another pic, but I can't find the cable to pull the pic off the camera.  lol

I like your new stick. Even with your artsy furniture.

The old one was "artsy" as well.  Just had a mix of FDE and foliage panels where the new one is FDE and black.  

But we all know you just like stick.

What's the Aimpoint mounted in?

LaRue's M68 mount.  I like this piece a lot actually.  It's quick detach capable, with exceptionally minimal shift in point of impact when re-installed. It places the optic at the perfect height for my field of view (the EoTech always felt too low) and still allows lower third co-witness of the irons.  It also has a spare battery compartment in the base of the mount.

And if you're out of ammo and they rush you can chest poke 'em real hard with the flash hider.

Mine's a .45 as well.  And you're right, it shoots really nice but is on the large size for a carry gun.  Unless of course you're carrying on the outside.

Finally got on Kimber's website and found your gun. Did you have the trigger changed? It looks Videcki-ish and their pics show a solid trigger. Damn those sights look like Novaks!

Other than the light, and the original recoil spring being replaced, mine's all stock.  Looks like the one on their site to me.
