Ahhhh...  Colt revolvers.  I miss my old Anaconda.

The Anaconda in 44mag, right?  I had one and sold it to my friend.  I also have a Cobra, and a Diamondback.  I wanted to get the Python and have one of all the Colt snake guns, but I was single and thought I had alll the time in the world.. lol.. I gave that up and sold the Anaconda after being begged for it.  Plus, I don't love shooting 44mag in a revolver...

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

I had a SIG AMT in .308 and a SIG PE57 in 7.5x55 Swiss a while back. Loved the AMT

egad, i would love a 57

You need to post a pic of whatever you have that shoots 7.5 Swiss!!! [thumbsup]

it's a K31.  I like bolt guns.  i bought a shitload of the ammo when it was still cheap.  i say that a lot, i think.  my wife doesn't understand why i "need" so much ammunition lying around..

I bought a pallet of Tokarev ammo -- I don't even have a gun to fire it.  I am eyeballing a Glock 21 -- cut a new barrel.  Of course, some guy is making AR15 blowback uppers that fire Tokarev ammo.. that would be fun -- get an 11" SBR using 7.62x25..

Mine was a 4" in .45 Colt.  Also had a five-shot cylinder made for it to run HOT loads.  Sold it years ago to a friend of my pops, and have been trying to get it back since.

I think I might be an addict now :P

Update.

I love this gun.

Love it.

Was at the range yesterday with my dad and a friend and put 100 or so though it.

It's better than I am.  If I take my time and stick with the basics I can get a 1" group with it at 8 or 10 yards.

No FTE's with my load I came up with but did have a bunch of FTF's.  WarranJ's right, if the primer isn't seated all the way it won't go bang.

I loaded brand new Starline brass and had more than a little trouble with primers.  Some of my trouble was with press setup and after I got that solved they went in easier.  I feel that because the brass is new the fit is a little tight.  I think on loading #2 they'll be fine.

Anyway, this is a great gun.  Fits my hand well (I have a big hand) and handles well.

[thumbsup]

I'm not a reloader but I'm sure you'll get it down. Will you reload your defense ammo or go store bought?

No way I'd load my own carry ammo!

I'll pickup some critical defense when the time comes.

Good call.  It's much easier to stay well clear of potential litigation by using commercially available ammo for that sort of purpose.   [thumbsup]

There's no known case of litigation over home-rolled ammo.  I would add, the chances are fairly small too.

Ok, maybe litigation wasn't the right word.  Lots of LEOs will tell you though that it looks better if the shooter had used store bought ammo versus "roll your own".
