My first mod was to install a keyless gas cap:





I got the part on eBay from this seller

Due to payment clearance delays and an color combo that could not be met I had to wait 5 f-n weeks for this.  But all in all it was a good price and it fit perfect.

I know it's an old thread, but any issues with fading?
