One I can think of right away is that they take a decent cut - I think around 3%.

That should be incorporated into the cost of the sale if they are asking to use it.
Problem is, PayPal is owned by Ebay and they have a history of siding with the buyer, despite even the most ridiculous situations...

He said he will add the Paypal cost to the agreed price.
Plan on waiting for Paypal check to clear before bike is signed over.

Paypal users can attempt fraud by filing a claim that you sold defective goods/did not receive goods/etc and paypal will automatically deduct funds from your account for a refund. It IS fraud, but you're still out the money while it gets sorted out.

It should be okay, but you can't sell it unless you leave the aftermarket pipes on it.

Why shouldn't you accept PayPal when selling a bike? Because PayPal ain't cash, that's why. I wouldn't even eBay a bike. I'd be really careful when CL-ing a bike. Don't go and get yourself scammed!
I don't usually like the horribly conspicuous chromos(for the same reason I don't go for yellow) but I really like yours. Needs a stock headlight though, those weird engorged tick looking lights up front are an abomination.

absolutely no reason i'd accept paypal for a local transaction. if a local guy can't give you cash, he doesn't have the money.
in fact, even when i sold my s4r, i had the seller go to my bank in texas and deposit cash directly into my account.
smooth transaction w/ no service fees.
