Hard bump - then check engine light

Hit a rough spot in the road this morning not too far from home, engine quit and check engine light came on. It restarted, but ran really rough. I will go over all the connections, especially spark plug and battery. Any suggestions for other things to check?

The upkeep of the dirt road I live on makes me a sad panda.
