If I had the extra cash laying around. Yes. I think it would make a great 2nd bike. Also better for 2 ups.
08' S2R 1K   That was close  damn near lost a $400 hand cart.

I had the same bike.  It was great.  Too bad it doesn't have the hard bags and mounts.  That was something like $800 from the factory back in 1999.
