sooo, i get bored easliy.  i'm really digging this latest frankenbike i've been tinkering with to the point i'm interested in selling the loudbike so as to be able to keeep the stone-aged harley....what is a man to do when he is not allowed to have more than 1-2 bikes?Huh?

ze old sportster in progress:

but yeah i hate to say it, i really want to keep this thing, and the only way to justify it is to sell off the duc....what am i thinking???  or should i just get rid of the crusty old sporty and forget i ever touched it???

Which of the two bikes gives you more pleasure, especially when you're sitting in your garage at night just looking at it?

IMO you should keep the duc. For practical reasons and because I know you put a lot of work into it.

Di you ever sell the RD and the scooters?

+1 on what Red said.

On a side note. Still trying to figure out why they call him Red.

yeah what's up with "red"   drink

doood, i *do* know the old harley will ride like crap and pretty much be just for posing around on, but seriously, it's so hard to *not* look at.  there's just something about it that does it for me....as far as the duc, i still have plans for it as well....i just need to stay focused, and not worry about being "bored" i guess....

It sounds like you are bored.  Maybe it's time to sell the masterpiece, make a bit of profit and start a new bike project?  Hey, it may lead to a big enterprise Wink

Paul,

Where do you find the time, esp with the new baby? Grin  I'm unemployed and still feel like there is not enough time in the day...

well, that's kind of what i've been thinking....to make the decision even harder, we're looking at this potentially being our last year in houston for awhile, but nothing's definite....

Paul, let me know if you want to sell the Harley... I showed the early stage pics to a friend who may be interested in buying it when you're done building it.  That might solve your problems, right?  Grin
