I want new rearsets and cant decide which ones to go with.. I saw the speedymoto rearsets at Laguna Seca ( they're kick-ass)-  I need some ideas for the ole S2R1k.

Thanks in advance waytogo

sato are my favorite. or you can wed up a tab on your frame like the DSS bikes and bolt on the older rearsets, or custom make your own. the SSS mounts dont leave much room for customizing.

I absolutely love my rizomas. Totally changed the bike, and how i ride it.

I did have some problems with installing them in conjunction with my Zard exhaust.
I couldn't use the right heal guard, as it would touch the pipes.. and i ended putting a small ding in the exhaust pipe to create some clearance right behind the rear brake pedal, as i thought the linkage was going to hit when depressing the pedal. This turned out to be unnecessary though :/ so ignore the dent in my exhaust.

Also, the Targa heatshield looks awesome, but i found that it didnt' really work all that well... It got just as hot as the exhaust because of the way it mounts :/

Look like hot shit though Grin

I have a set of Satos on my bike (2001 900) and I love them.

Not quite as 'fine' a set of adjustments (I think they allow for 3 positions fore aft and 2 positions up down) as others offer, but I've found the positions they do offer are enough.

Also, they are really well made. No play whatsoever.

get some Satos while you can,

their website says they have stopped running monster rearsets and just do the 696/1100 nos

they have silver sets left, but you can find other colors on some websites still.
