Cool deal.  Much better outcome than I was anticipating.  Says something about CycleGear also.  They are coughing up a lot of cash for their mistake.

+1 I was thinking props to Cycle Gear.

My local Cycle Gear has provided good service.  Their prices aren't great, but they make up for it in service.

Randall is right. I think I might have been down there threatening to eat someone's baby. Good up on you.

Condiments are the key. It keeps your jaws from getting too tired too fast.

Really, the Cycle Gear in my area has killer prices.  And, if you show them an advertisement, they will usually match prices (or at least come close enough that it isn't worth dealing with mailorder).  I don't think I would let them touch my bike though (for fear of getting it back painted hot pink and with a 20 inch swing arm extension).

I have been following this thread from the start ... I always have fears of someone spoiling things when in for maintenance.

So, fantastic news! That light is now in clear sight and shining brightly at the end of the tunnel. Must have been extremely frustrating time ... but ride time is fast appraoching.

Cycle Gear is pretty awesome... They have sponsored us for years, and i have never had a problem sending clients there. They stand behind the work they do. They also will always have the lowest prices, as they have the most buying power in the country. I think they are upwards of 120 retail locations now.

You exposed one of the issues with CF wheels that need to be clear coated! It kinda sucks, but the non clear coated CF wheels tend to run a LOT more money! Like $5500 plus for the pair.

Glad to hear you got your wheels hooked up!
