Looking for some Oberon Billet Foot Pegs for an S2R1000. Free shipping would be nice. Any pics would be nice of some on the bike. Looking for black too.
Has anyone here mounted the Gilles footpegs with success?

Hey Marc, I ordered my set directly from Oberon UK and it came out to 56.27 USD shipped. I got the black "race" pegs and I'm VERY happy with them. The only pictures I have of them can be seen here (sorry for the crappy photo)

From their site they are listed for the S2R: http://www.oberon-performance.co.uk/acatalog/Ducati_S2R.htmlMost people buy the "touring" ones as they provide a larger contact but I didn't like the way the look. You thinking of now prepping up the S2R?

which ones are the touring? It's obvious the studded are in the center, but it's tough to tell which ones are longer from the picture

Ok I can see why you went with race, too bad they didn't keep the same pattern for both. The thought of a little extra length is appealing especially on the right foot

I run the Touring Pegs, I was going to run the race, but figured the Touring would be more comfortable because I have really wide feet, they were one of the first mods I did on the bike, they are nearly 2 years old, I have worn through the black coating in a few spots and the black coating has slightly discolored (slight tint of blue visible now.) but still an excellent peg set.

Martin at Motowheels carries/can order them. I just got 2 sets of the studded. Really good quality. I do have to mod the set I'll be using as passenger pegs for the ball and spring to hold them out of the way.

thanks for that last comparison shot. It looks like even the race pegs are a little longer than stock

No problem. On paper that small length seems negligible but it makes a world of difference while riding.
