Saw a guy riding a trike up to Flagstaff a few years back with a wheelchair holder on the back.

That looks overly complicated!?!?

Why not use a more traditional style trike design?  whatever.

Since when is overly complicated a reason to not do a mod?  I thought that was half the point.    Grin

Thats awesome.

its more like a sidecar than a trike but with the passenger doing the driving,

It does look complicated but i'm pretty sure that it 100% functional and designed to make it as easy to use as possible for its owner.

Also its in Europe where building customs and specials is 100x more complicated than in the states.

I saw a Harley with a set up like that.  Great idea, since when you arrive you have your wheelchair with you.

So, he's already disabled, and he rides without a helmet. BRILLIANT!

While I could see you being able to roll it at high speeds, it is not like he is going to fall over, or out of, that ride. I would wear a lid, but I am one of "those riders".

My thing is, if he is involved in a collision, he could be ejected from the vehicle much like someone who is in a convertible with no seatbelt...
