That's rich... I might have to fire that up.  Not sure how on my little router... but I have the google...

Bah... I'd need to run my own DHCP behind the router that funnels all teh upside down stuff back out ... poo

That's some funny shit. But it highlights the reason I have my wireless connection secured...

That is a nugget of internet excellence.  I just don't know how I could do that and resist goatse-inating all the images, though.

Yuu, looks like you need a proxy to do this - they used squid which runs on linux.  There are a few linksys wireless routers that run linux, but I am not sure if you could get it running on them.  You could probably use something like cerberus for windows, but you'd need to be able to policy-route web traffic to the external proxy.

Also, you could set up your PC with a static address or reservations on the DHCP server, then exclude those addresses from the upside-down-ternet route statements.  Or, you know, like make all images goatse  ;D

I secured mine with a really easy to guess password, but all my neighbors have open connections. I've been really tempted to just cancel my ISP account and freeload.

ute

i leave mine wide open ...if you need it its all yours

plus any encrypted network is so easy to hack ...when i war drive i can crack any network in about 2 min

but gotta love that link ....very cool

^This.

I discovered long ago that 99.9% of all encrypted networks can be hacked with about 15 minutes of google browsing. The best part...about 80% of those 99.9% never change the default admin password for their access points/routers.

Im no expert here, but ours is setup by mac address (and the name/pw have been changed)

Is there some way to get around that?

Yeah, almost all wifi cards allow you to flash the firmware with a chosen mac address - I used to bump Windows machines off prepaid cafe wifi networks and switch my laptop to use their mac address and freeload their paid internet ;-)

I used to do that until my neighbor got foreclosed on and when they finally cut off his power....it killed the service

I used to do this in college to my neighbors which we despised.

I'd log into their router, encrypt it with a password that was random as make the beast with two backs, thus locking them out.
