You mean more so than when he's not pregnant?

You FUNNY!!!    [laugh]   [clap]

My nephew's name is Lachlan (pronounced Lock' lan) but they were also considering Rhys (pronounced Rease).  My brother-in-law is an Aussie with Scottish heritage, hence the name.  I kinda liked Rhys better, but hey, not my kid.  ;D
Inara: (pissed) "What did I say to you about barging into my shuttle?"

Mal: "That it was manly and impulsive?"

Inara: "Yes, precisely. Only the exact phrase I used was 'don't'."

I like family/ethnic names.  My sons' dad is Japanese, so my oldest son's middle name is Kinya (after his paternal grandfather) and my youngest son's middle name is Isao.  I wouldn't have considered giving them Japanese first names, but I like that they have ethnic middle names.

If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

I have an unusual first name.

As a little kid the other boys made fun of it. So I learned to fight... well.  (Practice makes perfect). Sadly  I think this builds character. Back when two boys could have a little fist-a-cuff and no one really got hurt, suspended, sued, or traumatized.

As a bigger kid girls liked it.

As an adult business associates easily remember it.

For me having an unusual name has been a huge plus.

PS maybe not as unusual as Razorbeef McSlaughter

You caught me I was going to say "Sue" [laugh]

It is Hoke... an old family name.
Yes I am much older than the movie "Driving Miss Daisy" (Morgan Freeman's character stole my name)

And I haven't smacked or been smacked in about 20 years, hell I won't even kill bees.
I meant as kids/teenagers..boys working out their aggression was easy back then. Where I lived, nobody had guns or knives and the fights ended before anyone got really hurt. I think it is very different now. Adult violence generally makes everyone involved look like idiots & I can look like an idiot all by myself. ;)

Ultrasound is scheduled for 8/18 and we will hopefully find out if its a boy or a girl. So far it looks like Sue or Razorbeef would be the winners. What the hell are you guys smoking?  [drink] [bacon]
