It looks like they changed their post.  It doesn't show "edited", but they no longer call you a liar.

I was new to the old website and had only been on it for about three weeks, I went to Europe and when I got back 2 weeks later it was like all hell had broken loose...I even got a voicemail while I was gone from ducrider45 (my brother) informing me that there was a new site.  He is my go-to on everything concerning my new Monster, but I hope that if I do have issues in the future, this site will remain a helpful and friendly place for me to get answers and gain knowledge.

That should not be a problem, this new site is maybe a month new and the information available is already piling up.  With almost 2000 members, most of those being members from the formal said, any information not available will be by simply asking.

Congrats on the new bike and welcome to the new DMF!

I, too, was relatively new to "The Old Place." I had met a few people in my area through it, and really enjoyed the wealth of information there. I am not mechanically lost when it comes to bikes, but moving from a history of old Yamahas, Hondas, and Harleys to Ducs was a big step (and a good one). I was disappointed when things changed.

I don't have years of experience working on Ducs, but I have three generations of love and wrenching on other bikes behind me and I am glad that this place has risen out of the ashes of the old place.

I have gone back a few times and all I seem to find are rude jerks bashing on people for asking honestly for help with their bikes. Any support given to others is taunted and bashed by the same. What a disgrace.

just when I thought this thread was coming around.

I'm leaving the contact stuff up in this link only because it's easily obtainable elsewhere and I assume everyone has more common sense than what's suggested above.

This thread turns any further into 'get even' versus simply a question of public contact info and it's gone.
