only 6hp officially.it was a 916cc but i converted rear to s4r for a winter project. i never used  all the power anyhow. im usually two up with my better half having fun.

i had to get an 1100 so nice rear end against 696 imho. im sure i could get over a 100hp out of it.
 project monster here

Ducati Monster s4 to s4r

the differences are lighter, better riding position, quicker in corners and better brakes and suspension. my pillion likes it but the position for her is more raised than used to be. shes perfectly happy mind and loves the new bike.

it was always going to be tough a new model coming out an there were loads i slated the 696 for in looks. but the 1100 has blown aside those issues and leaves me with that great big grin i first got when i rode a duke..

im trying to fix the issues that i dont like slowly but it all works well. the headlight may be shoved in but its superb. i always liked the dashboard other than wanted orange glow. having a switch to shift from clock to total miles to trip at a push of switch.

im leaving the gearing alone this time. i changed the s4 to 14 tooth and although smoother i hated the revs.

rear sets from rizoma is wishlist. and a spare set of tank panels too customise.
