Well I sold the s4/r and have replaced it and the 748 too with a brand new Monster 1100S in White for a lot less than the retail price.

I have just had it serviced and the modifications have started. I have spent what I saved already which is just over £1200 and got some great ebay bargains saving more.

So the Standard M1100S should have  cost me £9750 and I paid £8450 applause

I got the Carbon termi kit on ebay which should retail at £928 for £670

And then just got a load of carbon
Oil cooler side covers
Front sprocket cover
Tank top cover
Tank lower cover
Headlight cover

The other bits so far
Ducati performance Touring seat for my other half and yes its comfy
Rizoma  gold clutch cover
JPL gold pressure plate
R&G  Aerostyle crash protectors
R&G front fork protectors

Awaiting an EVOTECH tail tidy this week to get rid of long tail

I just love this new bike.

That's funny, as soon as I saw that I thought of you.

Bike looks GREAT... both of them!

If you don't mind, where did you get the protective screen that is over the oil cooler?

the mesh i got for my old s4 radiator but never used it. it came from our local hardware warehouse called b&q. only cost around £12 a sheet about 2" x 1". a few others have done the same as me. it just tucked in there at moment. im awaiting the carbon side covers that surround the oil cooler. in post now.

how much of a power difference is there. I would think you are losing some power going from the S4R to the 1100S

only 6hp officially.it was a 916cc but i converted rear to s4r for a winter project. i never used  all the power anyhow. im usually two up with my better half having fun.

i had to get an 1100 so nice rear end against 696 imho. im sure i could get over a 100hp out of it.
