or know someone who does? i'm looking for an idea on cost of maintenance
before i go signing up on one of their forums.. figured i'd ask here first.

I rode the Aprilia 'HyperMotard 750 shiver engine'.. Dorsoduro in Daytona on a test ride, and it seems to fit what i'm looking for, comfort for my knee and fun, smooth, but not overly out of control crazy powerful (yes it has 92 HP).
I love naked bikes and i hate fearing every bump and pot hole and rocks/gravel on our fantastic twisty back roads.

I'm currently riding the Monster s2r1k, but the knee bend keeps me from riding for more than a half hour at a time. I used to be able to ride for an entire day. My knee hurts too much to be bent up in that position anymore. (which is why it's fs)

info on the Dorsoduro below

not necessarily on topic, but have you thought about changing the ergos instead of selling the bike outright?

there's gotta be options out there that can lower the pegs from the stock location

Adjustable rearsets aren't made to go forward and down.

Rode the bike 6k, sad to say she's no longer really mine in under 2 weeks.

Just hoping someone hear knew someone with that bike. Since, i'd like to stick around this board. u guys are funny!

I took a test ride on a Dorsoduro the last time the local Aprilia dealer had a test ride day and the semi trailer full of bikes.  It felt pretty good, but the engine felt too weak to me.  The representative from Aprilia said that it had been set on the lower power setting and that when turned to full power was more powerful than a Hypermotard.  I didn't believe him.

I also hated the "passenger strap", or whatever that thing across the seat is that is in just the wrong place.  I think I could enjoy riding one of those if it truly has more power when you enable the right setting.  I still don't believe it's a match for a Hypermotard, though.
