A little news from up here on the Central Coast, HWY 1 is closed for 39 mi. starting in Lucia with a heat wave on the way.  Hopefully things settle down for the GP.  Come and see us at turn 6, site 120. chug

This is lame, because the ride up and back are one of my riding highlights of the year.  But, due to the fires, I think I'm gonna cage up.

I bet roads will reopen over the next 10 days. Unless, of course, this next heat wave wreaks havoc on the central valley. There's always the 101...zzzz.
