A little news from up here on the Central Coast, HWY 1 is closed for 39 mi. starting in Lucia with a heat wave on the way.  Hopefully things settle down for the GP.  Come and see us at turn 6, site 120. [beer]

This is lame, because the ride up and back are one of my riding highlights of the year.  But, due to the fires, I think I'm gonna cage up.

I bummed... but still going.

I bet roads will reopen over the next 10 days. Unless, of course, this next heat wave wreaks havoc on the central valley. There's always the 101...zzzz.
