Crap. I have oil in my coolant tank.  [bang]

The local dealership suspects it's a head gasket. The bike has 2500 mi on it!

Took the water pump off per Ducati Regional service reps advice. Seals are good.

Performing a leakdown test to determine what cylinder head is leaking.

Est. one DAY's labor to replace the head gasket.

Insane, has this happened to anyone? How does this happen?

Can I do this myself? Is there a DIY somewhere?

What year S4R?

Haven't heard of that kind of failure.
Doesn't mean it can't happen, tho.  :-\
Just wondering how the oil's getting in the coolant, as the pressurised oil is externally delivered on the Desmoquattro.

Leakdown is a good plan.

It's an 04. That's what I thought too. Head gasket is all I can think of.
