So, Its been a year and I still cant make up my mind. At first I thought I wanted side x side. Now I am pretty convinced that I want the shot-gun style. I'm leaning towards the sil-moto but cant decide on Titanium or carbon fiber. I've had CF and I liked the raspy tone and the fact that they where pretty cool to the touch. Cant help but like the look of the Titanium. I do plan on ceramic coating the mid-pipe, just not sure how it will look. How different is the tone/sound between CF and Ti's.Maybe I can use clip art to doctor up a photo of the Ti's

Go with carbon for the sound, I'm sure you could figure out a way to have them painted to look metallic. I've seen some well done examples.

please post up a vid.

although i am still not sure on the noise (too much?) these are by far the best looking and completely open up the rear wheel. very nice

i was down at a local hang-out (alice's restaurant) and saw this termi low mount (no cat!) that also looked the t1ts. can't find it as an official part so he must have done a mod (yea, i have seen those that mount to the cat -- ick!)

Once I get the pipes on and figure out how to post a vid, I will...working on posting pictures first. Good luck with your decision.  I definitely agree, anything to get rid of the yucky udder - just wreaks havoc on an otherwise beautiful bike.

IMO, the  Monster exhausts are ones that leave the rear end completely uncovered.

I just started riding my S2R800 again and am falling in love with the Arrows on it again. They're kinda loud, but the booming exhaust beat sounds like a WWII fighter or something. So deep and with a mean over-rev. Mine are Ti cans, too. Maybe try to find someone with a S2R1000 with the Arrow full system and hear it?

+1 on the Arrows for sound.  My shop had a used S2R1k with a full CF setup and EVERYONE turned around when I fired that thing up.  I personally think they're kinda ugly (even compared to stock) but the sound is great.

I'm willing to sacrifice sound for something as dead sexy as the Ex Box though.
