They're all about 5'-4" and 110 lbs...
But, yeah, that was a crazy wreck. Target fixation: the GP guys even do

I watched it again last night, and at the last second Canepa seems to stand the bike up.
Maybe he heard Nicky yelling.
Tossed Canepa on his head pretty hard.

If you keep freezing the frame from the moment you can see Canepa, watch his helmet. It almost appears that he ducks, just before Nicky hits him.

If it was a new tackling technique he isn't very good at it. Aren't you supposed to tackle facing forward? Not with your back? Either way that's a bummer all around.
