With that very nice SC top triple, you really need to file the casting lines off the bottom clamp.

Yes. Mark is correct. It is a 50% gloss. The next time around I would even consider a 40% gloss.

I'm currently in the process to designing a "breakout" board. A PCB that will integrate the stock wire harness loom into a small compact ~3" x ~4" piece of copper. All relays, coils, current drivers for LEDs, etc... can be located on this PCB and/or substituted with their solid state equivalent. All controlled via FPGA(a type of microcontroller). This will clean the bike some while eliminating the rat's nest that comes with using terminal blocks or customized harness. Because most of the signals will pass through this board I will add in some cool "bells-&-whistles". TBA later.

Not the Exbox. Not for me. No way. I wanted the Boomtubes.... Bad! Very bad i wanted them. When I got this 06' S2R1000, the boomtubes were unavailable. I was also living in Canada then. Summer is short up there    So i had a custom exhaust made so i would not miss riding season. Next bike will have some MotorCreations pipes for sure! Mark S. and I have been talking.

I'll more then likely order 4-5 prototypes depending on the size of the PCB panel; Hence price break. If demand is there i'll look into perhaps doing a ver2 and bring it to market. Don't expect this until Dec. My s2r will be used as a mockup prototype to work out the bugs.

Presently trying to finalized the board layout. Circuit is ~75% captured. The Monster don't leave that much room "prime realestate"? to install something like this even after you pull out the stock harness. Most likely it will be located in the tail section where the electronics can run cooler and increase reliability(MTBF).

This is really interesting.  What made you go with an FPGA vs micro?  Technical requirement?  Personal preference?  I'm curious cause I have an electrical project in the pipe for my bike too, just not familiar at all with FPGAs.

Keep us posted on the progress, it sounds cool.
