Replacing S2R1000 spring.

Has anyone here done this and where did you get it? Racetech???? My rear is way to soft for me and my daughter to ride around.

The rear suspension should be good up to 400lbs for 2 riders, have you tried getting it adjusted first?

Ohlins springs fit the sachs boge shocks and the stock spring is best as a paper weight.

I believe Ohlins and Eibach make springs for this shock.

it's a simple matter of removing the shock, compress the spring using spring compressors, removing the bottom flange, slip spring off the shock body.

Reverse for installation of new spring...

Remember that a stiffer spring will be great for 2up riding, but will hurt handling when you are riding solo. Try adding some preload (5-10minute operation tops) for 2up rides.

Perhaps the Ohlins w/ remote preload adjuster is the answer?
