Shortest distance: 60mi according to googlemaps. There might be something else but that's from a Shell to an Arco. I can't find anything other than the Arco on the Wrightwood side though and I've never made the trip so I don't know.

Huh... Never realized that it lets out just on the other side of the mountain from my parent's house.

Thanks for the link.  Hey, even I can make that (if I top off first!).

Well I have an S4RS too and she has ran out of gas on me at 100mi at a good pace. I took her up to ACH this past Sat with no issues. I topped her off at the Shell at the bottom of the hill, went up to Newcombs Ranch, back down to the Shell.....DID NOT fuel up and made it back home with no gas light coming on.

Now, if we were going past Newcombs to Wrightwood, I would then gas up at Wrightwood. They have a little gas station there. Now that's a nice road to ride.  [moto]

We are looking to ride ACH again this Saturday if your up for it. Azusa has some heat on it at the moment. I guess someone did a knuckle-head move recently.

Can you swing Saturday's?

Wait, we are?  Tongue Me too!

Thanks Icon,

Maybe some morning I can join up on one of these rides if you don't mind my being the slow guy at the back.

Everyone rides their own pace and they're good at stopping and waiting at any splits.  Smiley I'm always the slow poke in the back. Last weekend I was pretty comfortable going the speed limit +5 (45+5 ~ 50mph) since it was my first time. I still get the fun of leaning the bike into some of the sharper turns but don't have to worry as much about lines since I'm horrible at finding the right line.
