OK. I've done all the searches that I can think of. Awhile back (within the past year), I read a thread with pics of a custom exhaust. the cans where really small in diameter. Not much bigger than the s-pipe. If I remember correctly, it was 1 of two made. very expensive. They where high mount, but I can't remember i fit was 1 each side or just one. S*R model. Does anyone have a pic of these or a link?

i remember the exhaust your talking about i think..
dual high-mount, custom made... showed up on eBay for a few weeks. they were only slip-ons, and had a $999 price tag, which was unappealing. guy was also selling a SA-WEET rear license plate bracket that sat behind the wheel like real low....
sorry i don't remember the name, or have a pic...

Ahhhh yes, that is exactly what I was referring to. thank you. Now all I have to do is figure out a way to afford it. Or have someone with skills make me one. That tail chop looks bad ass as well. I am going to start e-mailing them to find out more. I am not a fan of the "standard" tail chop, but if I could get it to look like that, I'm all in.

www.motocreations.com
Mark at Motocreations really did a good job jazzin up my DP headers.  If you decide to have an exhaust custom made.  I would recommend contacting them.

Dare I say it, but it looks a bit like the Zards I have on my bike.  My cans are bigger, definitely, but it also isn't a custom system...

That's pretty bike.  But if the exhaust tubes are as small in dia. as they look the sound would be horrible and probably not good for performance.

Are they that much smaller diameter than the stock pipes (not cans)? Are they smaller than Boom Tubes? While a restrictive exhaust could cause you problems, I am not sure that this amount to anything more or less than straight pipes.
