Found this on another site. I went to the last one a few months ago and got an old leather jacket that had been discontinued for a "decent" price. Still think I overpaid a bit for it though. They did have gear although it was primarily apparel. A few big boxes of gloves to fish through, about 6-8 racks of mixed leather and textile jackets, and a few mounds of dirt bike boots. The boots were REALLY popular last time. Cash or card. Be prepared for a long line.

What kind of details do you want? I've only been once before but I might be able to answer questions. When I said that "they do have gear but it is primarily apparel" I meant that most of the items in whole sale were apparel. There was a fair amount of gear but it's not very organized. Like, say for their riding boots. I think last time they had 2 or 3 types and that was it and they were all kinda motocross looking type boots. Not something I'd imagine people wearing on the street. They were in 3 separate piles but there was no attempt at organization by size. Gloves were just tossed into 3 3'x3' boxes. The 6-8 racks of jackets I mentioned were all riding jackets. About half were leather, half were textile. Sizes were all over the place and I was surprised to see that they had my size. It's kind of a take what you can get though. I saw a lot of different styles with only a few sizes in each style. In the whole layout of the parking lot, the gear made up maybe 20% of the sale items. That's what I meant by saying it was primarily apparel. They had T shirts, hats, backpacks, socks and probably other random stuff that I didn't look at too since I wasn't interested.

I probably wouldn't consider it worth it for Trouble to come out from San Diego for this since it's such a gamble on what kind of gear they'll have but if you do come out anyway you're not far from Malibu to hit the old roads.  Tongue

Haha, last time I went I got so excited when I found a size 48 jacket I tried it on without looking it over super closely. Then I started thinking that red looked a little pinkish and took it off.  Embarrassed

I don't remember the leathers too well because I was focusing on just finding a 46/48 quickly before anyone else but a lot of the textiles I looked at were in the mid to high 50s (56, 58 euro) and there wasn't anything even close to my size in textiles. I mighta seen some in the 60s but there weren't a whole lot.

Metalduc and I went last time, so I'll put in my 2 cents. It opened at 10, and by the time we got there at 1015 the place was already packed. There isn't a ton of gear (20% is about right) and it goes really quick. Basically people grab garbage bags and fill them up. I got a bunch of cool A* teeshirts for $5 each. There are also cheap hats, socks, belts etc. The line was really long (like an hour and a half) because they have to sort through the garbage bags, and the cash line was much faster as they had some issues with the credit card machine. I know they advertised it more than ever last time and they were surprised by the turnout, so maybe this time it will be better organized and faster. We can only hope.

It's a good place to get cheap cool apparel and maybe get lucky with gear, but don't plan on getting out of there fast. If you go get there early, bring cash and go straight for the gear to get the best selection.

Prices not that great either. IMO
