MendoDave, yes I purchased Termi Slip-On's instead of the full system as I was afraid to melt my fairings.  I do believe that I will have to ceramic coat the rest of my exhaust to disipate more heat.  Maybe black would look nice??? ;D

Maybe try a silver color. [thumbsup]

MendoDave, good eye for detail.  What would be the chances of getting a near match of color with my wheels??? [moto]

Love your bike!!  Congrats!!

They had to change your ecu for slipons?  :-\  I am running full 72mm Arrows with a PCIII on mine without an ecu change.

Yeah, these damn bikes roast your nuts (well, figure of speech doesnt apply well here...LOL).  I got the DP heat pad under my seat and that helps a ton.
If you love your bike, set it free.
If it comes back to you, you've
probably high-sided.

Why is this in NMC?

Seems to be all moto content.

I put this here in No Moto because it isn't a Monster, and thought you guys would like it here.

Ahhhh....

It's slightly different here than the TOB.

General is for all moto related stuff. Not just monsters.

This place is for everything not moto related.

It's fine in here if you like, but there are members that don't venture in here.

Wow, thanks Dave.  I will check into this ASAP.  I should think about a heat deflecting carbon bit near my boot as well.

True story:  After a longish day on the bike I walked in the door and said, "Wow, my ass is hot!"  My husband looked at me and through a wicked grin said, "Yeah, I know."  And that is all you people need to know.

Oh my, I felt like that for 5 years.  I would ride with my Ducati Buddies and  would have to literally wring out my little M600 just to keep contact.  Frankly, it is all the sweeter when you have to wait some.  When the day finally arrives, we all appreciate your happiness and fatigue smile muscle syndrome. [moto]

I totally agree on the wait.  Once I finally save up enough for a new bike, all the waiting and anticipation will make it all that much more special.  Perhaps I will have a Superbike in my garage one day (848).

Contrats again on your new ride!

Thanks Tony!  Ah yes, the wait is worth it for certain. [moto]
