I recently became addicted to netflix as I really have no life outside work and riding.  I have seen most movies and am impressed with their selection of obscure dvds, especially those showcasing live music or variances thereof.  Just curious which some of you have seen and might recommend.

I go to a fair amount of concerts, but I really like seeing acts that you might not normally have the opportunity to see on a regular basis.  Esp when you can kick back at home with a 5.1 surround with a HD LCD and your own beer selection. [drink]

My recent favorites are:
-Gorillaz- Demon Days live
-Daft Punk- Interstellar 5555 (anime film synched with Discovery)
-Daft Punk- A Story About Dogs, Androids, Firemen and Tomatoes (vids from Home Work along with small live excerpt from Live 1997)
-Portishead- Roseland NY (w/ sypmh accomp)
-Jamiroquai Live at Montreaux-
-Queens of the Stoneage - Over the years and through the woods
-Primus - Hallucino-genetics live 2004

Any recommendations????

Anything by Fish

Do you mean Phish?

Mike Gordon, the bass player, was the producer and I think director too of the Gov't Mule DVD, Rising Low.

Huge fan of the Dave Matthews Band DVDs.  Stellar video/audio quality.  Obviously high budget production.  I have been to a couple of dave shows and I would say that the DVD audio on my H/K, Paradigm 5.1 setup is actually much better than the live concert in person.  If you want proof, just ask my neighbors  [bang]  Video quality is also top notch.  They are obviously running atleast 4 cameras at all times.
