Ready to ride

This morning it was $17.64 to fill up the tank of my M750. Ouch! That's what it used to cost to fill my Subaru. Just feeling a little Shocked. I need a raise.

What's this?  Gas prices are high?  Gee, what a revelation.

No matter what gas prices creep up to I will still smile every time I pull up to the pump in my Monster.

Just look around at everyone else and know that you are getting about 2-3X as many miles per gallon as all the cagers there.  waytogo

You must ride differently than I do  Evil
Even with my GasGas which I filled up yesterday I only got about 32mpg. On the other hand, it's fun only putting 1.5 gallons in to fill it Wink

In the good ol days of 1995 I'd buy a Gatorade and fill up the 620 with the change!

Damn ExxonMobil and their record profits 8 years in a row.... wait 8 years, isn't that the term of the presidency?  Nah... couldn't be.

No that's about what I get too.  My point is here in Wisconsin about 2/3 of what's on the road is trucks and most of those average 12-16mpg around town.  Several of my buddies own Jeeps, Broncos and other 4wd trucks that only get about 10 mpg around town.   laughingdp

In the 22 days I have my s2r1k, it seemed the mileage was AWFUL!  Like in the high 20s!!!  My scion can almost get me that.

With the liklihood of my bike being totaled, I am looking at a Yamaha C3 scooter as part of the replacement, as well as another bike.  It gets like 125 mpg!!!

I'm pretty happy with mine, it gets around 45mpg without babying it.

Not that it will do much good in the long run - one day we'll be telling our kids about the days when our bikes ran on gas!  it still amazes me we have morons on the road cruising at 80mph in their Hummers as we enter the beginning of the end of the age of the internal combustion engine... enjoy it while it lasts...

Not quote that bad here in Baltimore.  Most places are running $3.80 to $3.90 for regular.

It was 3.99 at the same gas station last night. I'm curious what it will be when school lets out for the summer.

It's memorial day weekend, so expect to get bent over at the pump.  It'll go down next week.

Just to reintroduce myself. Moved over from TOB. Not a frequent poster, but have been following the board for some time.

Anyways, What MPG is a stock 620 getting?
