Hah.. oops... just for the record, office chairs aren't comfortable in wet jeans.  It wasn't supposed to rain today...!  So I scheduled n appointment with DucSea to get my rear swingarm looked at ( @^)*@#$^(& ), cleared it with my boss to give me a couple hours in the afternoon.. and it rained.

Well, dangit, I'm no wimp, it's not far to work, I'll just ride anyway.  Oops.  Right now I'm hiding in a back room with a space heater (which aren't allowed in our building) trying to dry out my legs and my desert camoflage boots.  On the bright side, my mesh jacket (with rain liner!) performed flawlessly.

I just thought I'd share my discomfort with you all this morning.

Only happened to me once and it sucked. Came out of nowhere too..

Those raindrops turn into bbs real quick once you get moving.  Yet another time I wonder what guys with no helmet do..  laughingdp

And on top of that, my bike kept trying to stall when starting from a stop.

(I didn't downshift all the way... I haven't done that since my very first ride on the street years ago)

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

this hopefully won't be the last time you ride in the rain.

It's a right of passage to becoming more than a fair weather rider.

Nah, I've ridden in the rain before, I'm just usually a little more prepared for it.
