Question Anson, Why were you looking at it?

You know me well enough to know its not for me, but as they say, "No such thing as bad publicity".   The owner thanks you i'm sure.

I was watching Mecum last night on DiscoveryHD an I saw that roll through. I saw the price and thought my Lord who the..... had to share. They had a guy push it through, looked above average height. Watching him try to see around the tank was ridiculous.  :P

Yeah I saw that as well. I think the highest bid was $17,000, but I didn't see if it actually sold or if it was held back due to a reserve price.

You know

if they moved/reshaped the tank so it was underneath the backbone in that void space

rounded up those brakelines with some kind of tie/fastener

and

tightened up the rake to about 26 degrees

it wouldn't look too bad

American IronHorse makes one similar to what your talking about.

I do like the rear of that bike

but the frame builder needed to have the tire mounted to the wheel to better make that bend

now

add the rear of that green bike to this bike

then i woulld take one

but

not for 50k

that is just make the beast with two backsing dumb

Kopfjager

I sat on one, it's a beast. Would take some getting used to, the front tire seems like it's 10ft away.  :o

You can build one for alot less. There are tons of rolling chassis out there.  [thumbsup]
