Unfortunately it looks like a trip to the dealer is in order. Have you tried fidgeting with the connector or disconnecting/reconnecting the battery?
Did the battery route but still no go. Its just odd that if scroll to a different menu, the letters and numbers are intact
I was installing my tail tidy and somehow, I blew the fuse for the headlight/tailight and license plate light. I replaced the fuse and everything is working fine.
