I think the closest thing is the Diablo Rosso.

They are killer good. I wrote up about them in the new tyres pretty pics thread. Will have them out on the track next Saturday so I'll let you know more after a day wrapping round at the creek.

I don't think the Diablo Rosso is a dual compound like the PPs. I should know as I had one ![bang head](http://ducatimonsterforum.org/Smileys/classic/banghead.gif) but I can't remember. I do remember that I liked it though.

Bazz wont need a dual compound. There's no straight roads where he lives, so he'll wear out the side of the tyre before the centre ![Shocked](http://ducatimonsterforum.org/Smileys/classic/shocked.gif)

Hi Bazz
Loved the Diablo Rosso but was disappointed to only get 7600kms out of it. I was getting better milage out of the Pilot road and power but the tyres never seemed to warm up enough for my liking.
I'm now trying Bridgestone BT14/15 which I like for the grip but they seem to have a squarish profile so not sure if they are right for my bike.
So I'm still looking....... never ending story really.

PP's are not dual compound they are single as far as I know. The dual is/was the 2CT version which has now been replaced with the Road 2 I believe. This is the current Pirelli RangeI have heard that Bridgestone tend to go off after 5000k or so and loose a lot of feel.

I thought the 2CT PP had been killed off because of wear issues and the like. Anyways, I'm a Pirelli man now, don't think I'll be going back to PP's unless it's road trip time.

As a rule a shop prefers you to buy the tyre/s from them, so prepare to possibly pay a premium to get them to fit the tyres?? ![Huh?](http://ducatimonsterforum.org/Smileys/classic/huh.gif) And not forgetting taking your bike/wheels to the shop at the same time . ![Wink](http://ducatimonsterforum.org/Smileys/classic/wink.gif) ). And of course if you are going to take your wheels you'll need front and rear stands to get them out ?? Sometimes the $$ you save on the tyres can be negated by the dickin' around?? ![Roll Eyes](http://ducatimonsterforum.org/Smileys/classic/rolleyes.gif) Just a thought. ![Grin](http://ducatimonsterforum.org/Smileys/classic/grin.gif)
