Phoenix had it's first 110 degree day of the year yesterday (there's a reason I'm not in Phoenix) and northern AZ started in on the dog days of summer a little bit early. The month of June up here is generally marked by widespread whining about the weather, which is painfully hot and humid. You know, mid 80s and 20% humidity.

Yes, it's embarrassing to hear people complain about it, and no,  I'm not an exception.

Around the beginning of July, in a normal year, we'll get a strong shift toward the Southwest Monsoon pattern, with frequent afternoon thunderstorms that cool things down splendidly. Until then, I'll be all  Cry Cry Cry
