driving rain all day
30 mph winds with gusts to 50
4 inches of water in the basement

toss up if the power will go out first or the furnace shorts out from the water.

lost power around 1am. woke up to a chilly house. power came on around 10am (impressive.)

furnace promptly died....gotta be something to do with how damp it got last night.

we lost power...twice last night, but very briefly...seconds.

downpours beginning of the week....did not break the humidity....increased it

now 90's hot with near-liquid air....

I am waiting for Colonel Kurtz to wander out of the bushes in the back yard

Usually.  Riding on the highways to get home now though..it's hard to breath with all the heat coming off the surface.  It has to be at least 150* on the asphalt!

We've had some humidity in the air this past week.
