uh....not sure. I am at work and will have to check tonight. I thought i could specify, since these things are hand packed, i figure the strip came off of a larger roll.

Well no dice on the headlight pigtail search, so I'm going to place an order.  Let me know what you want by 11/24/09 (next Tuesday) and I'll put in the order.  Use the list I posted detailing quantities available and PM me the part number and quantity. I'll invoice you the amount on the invoice for your parts, pro-rate the shipping to get to my house and ship the stuff to you for as cheap as I can get it to you.  Local to DC, I'll deliver for  [drink]

Bump for a reminder.  Get me your orders today (11/24).  I've got two orders, plus myself, so I should have no problem meeting the minimum $35 order.

Just woke up from the midshift, so I'll see if I can get this together.

Would be nice to see a complete diagram of what you need for one complete plug assembly.

I'm assuming 2 boots, one plug, one socket, is that correct?

Are the red plastic inserts on the factory wiring caps included with each socket or plug, or are these parts separate as well?

I couldn't find a complete diagram, but here is a verbal one using a 4 position plug for an example.  To get the entire plug, male and female side, This is what you would order:

1 ea. 282088-1 = female side of plug body
1 ea. 282106-1 = male side of plug body
4 ea. 183025-1 = female metal contacts
4 ea. 282109-1 = male metal contacts
8 ea. 281934-3 = 16awg wire seal
2 ea. 493581-1 = boot

If you wanted just the female (male) side, order just one of the plug bodies and cut the rest of the order in half. Does that make sense?

It does, but when I search the online parts thing for 281934-1, it either abbreviates it to 281934, or makes it a -c which isn't available.

Sorry, I mistyped.  It should be 281934-3 (http://www.onlinecomponents.com/buy/AMP-TYCO/281934-3/).  I edited my post above.

I should also put in a disclaimer here.  I have never used these components before and I'm not positive about any of this.  Caveat Emptor.

Order has been placed - a little late.  I will now have a veritable connector warehouse in a week or so.  The 4 position boots are on b/o.

Sorry about that.  I've been extremely busy.  If you need just a few things, I might have you covered.

Thanks I'll keep that in mind.

If you have extras, I'll buy some contacts from you.

I bought an entire wiring harness for my bike on eBay for $99.  That way I can go over every circuit.  ...maybe overkill, but it'll work better for me.

Order is in, I think.  It was kind of a mess dealing with Onlinecomponents.  The are completely out of 4 position boots (would require a minimum order of 2k to get the factory to run some) and 5 position female side plug (#282089-1).  They are on b/o and I should get them sometime in the next 8 weeks.  I'll be going through it tonight to make sure they sent everything and parceling out everyone's order.  I've got orders from Yuu, Speedmerchant, Taftonomos and RB so you guys can expect to hear from me soon with order cost, shipping estimates, a request for you address and my paypal address.

Pompetta, I'll see tonight what I have left in the was of contacts.  What quantity are you looking for and are you looking for male and female?

Dunno if you looked at some posts about these connectors on TOB, but have you worked out how you are going to actually hook up the wires to the contacts, and then get the contacts into the connectors ?? I pulled a knackered one to pieces, those contacts are rather tricky.....

I've heard and I've ordered a few extra to play with.  A little late for this advice BTW.
