Electrical issues: Speedo not working

Sooo...whoops, my speedometer stopped working. It stopped while I was driving, and now it's "stuck" on 40kph.

I drove a 10 hour ride, mostly in rain, yesterday and experienced some problems with the lcd displays (trip/clock/temp), coming and going. I could see some condensation on the inside of the speed/tach glass. There are also some "cable hoses" (or whatever they're called) in not-so-good shape on the backside, but it's only the outside black rubber, not the actual cable insulation.

The tach is working, though. What to do?

I'm a total newb, so any advice or tips on where to find out is appreciated.

I'm planning on getting a Ducati Workshop Manual for my bike, but I'm not quite sure where I should look for that either (In Norway, btw).
