From what I hear, unless you have a VERY new Mac or Adobe CS4, it won't make a bit of difference.

there's stuff there for everybody (unless you still have a non-intel mac)... the newer the machine, the greater the benefit.

...at which time you should become unaccustomed to your current user interface.  Until then, buy 3 tanks of gas for your baby.

Installed it today. I have a MacBook Pro 2.4 ghz, 4gb ram. I notice a little speed difference. Starts up a bit faster. Photoshop CS3 seems to open images a bit quicker. I did a test of opening 60 hi-res pics, all 8x10 at 300dpi, it did it in 45 secs. Safari is a bit quicker also. It was worth the $29, just for the seed bump in opening pics.

I don't think I'm going to bother. My macbook is 3 years old and my mini is 7 months old. The mini is lightning fast, but is used mainly for my son's middle school homework and some game design. I don't think it'd be worth the bother.

One other thing I noticed is that I now have more hard drive space after the install. For some reason, I now have 12 gb more than I had before the install.

I have heard it is much smaller.  Good thing, because the Mac OS is a fat bloated sack.  12 GB is a giant chunk of my old a$$ Macbook Pro.

Just noticed when I went to print that AppleTalk has been put out to pasture.

there's no more power PC code in the binaries and some of the system files are compressed.

Just installed it and so far it seems to be good. Graphics on my Macbook Pro look better and it seems to be responding faster.
