I'll be in town for business from 09/08 - 09/11.  Staying in Irving, near the airport.  I've got a family friend in Midlothian.  Dinner is on the company dime.  Any places I should definitely hit?  Anywhere to stay away from?  Any meet-ups near Irving on T, W, Th night?  My time schedule might be a little tight but just figured I'd drop a line.

Glad you're coming to the area, there should probably be a Thursday night dinner in FW and possibly a Wednesday meetup in D.  I'll try and update if there is a FW outing and keep an eye out on the Wednesday meet up thread....

Where in AZ?  I went to HS in Tucson...I think it was before AZ was a state, though.   cheeky

If you can stay through the 12th, there's Championship Finals at the Devil's Bowl (dirt track) Speedway, just east of Mesquite - it's an absolute hoot.  Bring ear plugs - it's loud, fast and action-packed.
