Um, Buckeyes? USC's a little better than Navy. Even if USC started 22 freshmen, they'd be better than Navy. Might wanna show up next week.

Yeah, it was a vicious hoax to think that we even had a chance.  BSU and ND would be an interesting game.

Had to do something impressive christening that fancy new stadium.  ;D

I'm still thrown off a little by Sunday football.  ???
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

The Sooners  ???

They didn't look sharp even with Bradford, but I still think they would have won if he hadn't been injured. Bradford is the heart and soul of that offense; if Texas or UF lost their starters, they'd probably look just as bad. The backup looked atrocious, and Stoops' playcalling under pressure stunk, as usual.
On the plus side, if that Jones kid is still playing in October, the Horns are gonna shred him  [evil]

shit, WE looked better than that in december against the irish lol

of course, needing a 4th quarter comeback against central freakin' arkansas means it's going to be a looooong season for hawaii

At least Cal put the smack down on Maryland.  [thumbsup] [thumbsup]

UW also looked surprisingly tough against LSU.

The Navy Midshipmen.  Leading rushing team for the past 4 years.

Still should be over in the 2nd Qtr.

Or not until Navy's poor play call on the 2 pt conversion in the 4th quarter. Go ahead and wipe the sweat from your brow.   USC is coming for OSU...and then there is Penn State...

When you really get down to it, they should just give Florida the trophy now.  The SEC in general is awsome.
I love the "non BCS" schools that crash the party.  The BCS is the worst thing to happen to college football.  Too many deserving teams are left out at the end of the year.  TCU, Utah, Boise state, (and I am probably missing one or two) all should have been in the mix last year, but b/c of that stupid rule about only 1 non BCS school getting in...

(for the record, I am a Rutgers and Miami fan)

Go Bears!  I was at the game.   It was great!  I wonder who set the kickoff time.  ESPN2?  7pm PST against an east coast team.  Gotta love it b/c last year when Cal went to MD, kickoff was 9am PST.
Javhid Best was awesome but pulled when game was clearly in the bag.  Gotta ensure he gets his ESPN highlights and lasts the season.  QB Riley is looking confident.  TD passes spread around to four different receivers?  Defense looks great.  These are just warm up games until 10/3 when USC comes to town.  Next week should be a great game, USC v Ohio State.  Go Buckeyes.

Ciao!

Man o Man am I not confident at all the the Buckeyes will win. In fact I'm looking to another USC blowout.

I just hope they were overlooking Navy with and ahead to USC.
